Q: Can I wear this in my athletic shoe?
A: In some situations the Custom Kork Vac may be used in an athletic shoe. It really depends on the foot and the shoe volume. However, to do this it will require some additional grinding and fitting to properly work. It would be wise to ask the technician if they have experience with this type of application.
Q: How long does it take to get these made?
A: It takes approximately 1 hour.
Q: What is the difference between the Kork-Vac and the Kork?
A: The Kork-Vac full-length top sheet is molded from 3/16" foam. Because we've chosen to use the foam full-length it takes up less room in the boot and offers a softer ride. Superfeet Kork is a little thicker in volume and will take up more room in the boot. The Kork full-length top sheet is molded from a 3/16" thick sheet of Kork. This makes the product a little denser and offers a little more support.
