Superfeet Hosting Booth at 2009 Boston Marathon

Insole Industry Leader Paves the Way for Elite Runners

FERNDALE, WA - APRIL 3, 2009 - Superfeet Worldwide Inc. will host a booth featuring the company's Premium Trim-to-Fit® Insoles at the 2009 John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo in Boston on April 17, 18, and 19. The expo marks the start of the 113th annual Boston Marathon weekend, with the elite 26.2 mile race taking place Monday, April 20, 2009.

Superfeet representatives will be available at Booth 2301 in the John B. Hynes Convention Center all three days leading up to the marathon to share foot health information and fit runners' shoes with premium insoles. One of the main reasons for runners to attend the expo is to pick up their bib numbers, but in a survey following the 2008 expo, 48.8% of attendees said they were there to learn about new products and services.

Winner of the 1988 San Diego International Marathon, Chantal Shea, will be at the Superfeet booth on Saturday, April 18th to chat about the benefits of Superfeet for marathon runners. At one time Shea was ranked 4th in the U.S. in the half-marathon distance, and ran in the 1988 Olympic Marathon Trials.

Superfeet Trim-to-Fit® Premium Insoles are designed to help support and stabilize runners' feet, improve shock absorption, and enhance the fit and comfort of running shoes. The Encapsulating Stabilizer System™ [ESS]™ is a unique pairing of the company's patented stabilizer cap and foam full length. When combined, a deep heel cup is created which cradles the heel's fat pad for improved natural shock absorption. Superfeet Trim-to-Fit® insoles are also treated with Agion® antimicrobial technology to help control odor-causing bacteria.

Acknowledging the size and sheer excitement surrounding the Boston Marathon and John Hancock Expo, Superfeet Northeast Regional Manager Thom Abrams says, "The Expo presents an unbelievable opportunity for us to reach huge numbers of people. This year we are excited to partner with Marathon Sports, one of Boston's premier running specialty stores, to offer athletes expert insole fittings and advice. We'd love to have everyone stop by!"

The John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo and Boston Marathon Bib Number Pick-Up is open to the public and admission is free. The Hynes Convention Center is located just a quarter-mile from the Boston Marathon finish line in Copley Sqare.
