Ever wonder which Superfeet insoles are worn by elite Track & Field athletes? Or what superstitions and rituals help Olympic hopefuls perform at their best when the pressure is on?

Superfeet is proud to support athletes hoping to clinch their spot at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Their events range from pole-vaulting to hurdles to discus, and each utilize Superfeet to help get the most out of every step and prevent injury while training. We talked to athletes Jill Marois, Elena Bruckner, Brittni Mason, Allison Halverson and Jasmine Todd about their biggest inspirations, what it’s like competing at the highest level and, of course, their favorite Superfeet.

Meet Jasmine Todd

Sprints and Jumps

What's your favorite thing about competing in your sport?

My favorite thing about competing in Track and Field is being able to travel the world. We get an opportunity to travel and do what we love! Getting to experience new cultures is always fun!

Which Superfeet insole is your favorite?

My favorite insoles are the Run Women’s Support! Allows great support for my arches when I’m wearing my trainers.

Do you have any pre-competition superstitions?

Yes, I have to listen to gospel before I compete and once I do well in something like my uniform or a pair of socks, I’ll probably wear it for every competition after that for the rest of the season…washed of course!

What's your favorite way to de-stress after a big competition?

If my family is there, I love to be around my family after and always treat myself to a sweet treat.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

My parents are my biggest inspiration because they have always pushed through. And they NEVER look like what they may be going through. They are so supportive of others around them!

Do you have any pre-competition superstitions?

Not currently, but in high school, I had to eat tater tots the night before every track meet.

What's your favorite way to de-stress after a big competition?

Spending time with my family and chocolate lab, Harley.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

My mom. She did Ironmans when I was growing up, and we would all go as a family to watch her. She is a major go-getter and I think she is a big reason why I have lived my life knowing girls can do anything and strong is pretty!

Meet Allison Halverson

Hurdles

What's your favorite thing about competing in your sport?

My favorite thing about competing in my sport is the pursuit to win and do my best. At the age of 15 to the age of 31, I still love this sport and I know I still have not reached my full potential. That is what keeps me going. The friends and places track and field has taken me is a bonus.

Which Superfeet insole is your favorite?

Hockey Performance insoles (they fit great in track shoes!)

Do you have any pre-competition superstitions?

Not really, I focus on what I can control and don't let what I can't control affect me.

What's your favorite way to de-stress after a big competition?

Eat a yummy meal and hang out with my family.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

My biggest inspiration is my Husband. He inspires me because, like me, he is working very hard towards a very difficult goal in starting his own company in college and now having 30 people working for him. We both go through huge highs and lows on a regular basis, but we have our faith in God and our love for each other to always pick each other up when needed and we push each other to reach our goals everyday.

To have no pre-competition superstitions.

What's your favorite way to de-stress after a big competition?

Time in nature/river swim.

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

Kobe Bryant was and continues to be one of my biggest inspirations because of his mental approach to greatness and belief in his own abilities. He has taught me the depths of the mind are endless and every step on the path to progress must be a choice.
